After studying Theatre Arts at University Jenna took her skills in storytelling to radio.
She worked for years as a producer on Australia's top interview program and podcast, Conversations with Richard Fidler (ABC Radio Australia).
On Conversations Jenna lined up and prepared guests for the program from every walk of life and background.
In 2019 Jenna produced Armistice, (ABC Radio) a three part radio documentary to commemorate the Centenary of the WWI armistice.

I've interviewed people from all walks of life. Everyone has a story to tell, and it's always interesting to hear life's experiences from their perspective.
No matter what your story is, I know how to shape it and keep it alive.

Don't let these stories fade into the past
I used to work in public radio in Australia, finding the most interesting people and stories and crafting their lives into an hour-long broadcast/podcast interview, with Australia’s top presenter - Richard Fidler (ABC Radio Conversations).
Our popularity meant that we received 100’s of guest suggestions every week. It was my job to read through theses incredible stories, and respond to every suggestion.

These guest suggestions were often accompanied by the plea, ‘Please, someone must record my fathers/grandmothers stories before they are lost’.
I was so sad I couldn’t help bring all of these stories to life, each unique and full of gold.

In 2009, I felt the strong urge to capture my grandparents' stories. For my grandparents, the stories and trauma of their immigrant past had been locked away for so many years, nobody thought to ask about it anymore. My grandfather passed not long after.
It took very careful navigating and negotiating both emotionally and psychologically. But when I played the video back to my uncles, they sat there in silence totally consumed. All these memories and stories they didn’t know - heard for the first time in their loved-ones voices.
As a result I came to understand them and myself on a whole new level, and now this history will not be lost to fading memory.

Since this experience, I have been drawn to helping tell the stories which we all have, big or small. I've interviewed 100's of people from all walks of life to showcase their stories for radio. I've learnt how to listen carefully, to find the pathways of their memories, to pull up the moments and details, and help relive them.

Now, I am so excited and humbled to offer my skills and services to everyone.

There is a joy in the care and attention required to ask the right questions, to listen, and to shape the fragments into a whole story. I want to help preserve these histories while they're still in living memory.
